This year is my 4th year as the Varsity volleyball coach. I have been involved with athletics since childhood. I played volleyball in high school and at Muskegon Community College. I have been coaching volleyball for 12 years. I love seeing the mental and physical growth that each player makes as the season progresses. I love the Pentwater school system and look
forward to helping these girls reach their potential! I also teach spinning classes at Ludington Spin and Yoga, coach at CrossFit in Ludington and wait tables at Jamesport Brewing company. In my spare time, my husband Chad and I chase our daughter Chloe around!

I’m happy to join the Falcon community this year as the JV volleyball coach. I’ve enjoyed being part of the athletics since childhood and I’m looking forward to sharing this passion with this year’s players. In high school, I competed in basketball, softball, and volleyball. I continued my passion for volleyball into college at Finlandia University. This is my first year coaching. I also substitute teach at local schools and wait tables at Big Hart Brewing Company. When I’m not working, I am busy playing and training my new husky pup, Lewis.
Junior High Volleyball

As a Pentwater Alum I am excited to join the Pentwater coaching staff. I was involved in athletics all through my years while attending Pentwater schools. As the Jr. High Volleyball coach I will be working with the athletes to learn the basics that will help them be prepared for their High School years. This will be an exciting time as for some this will be their first time getting to play on the volleyball team.
You have probably seen me taking pictures of your children during the school year at the beginning of their season, with their team, or during their games. You may have also noticed that I am behind the wheel of our Pentwater Buses. In the summer I stay busy with my photography business and being a housewife. Now that all 3 of our girls are in school full-time, it is nice to be able to be involved and help out where it is needed at Pentwater School.
Varsity Cross Country
Coach: Erika Fatura
Athletics have been a lifelong passion of mine. In high school, I participated in basketball, volleyball, and track. I have been coaching on and off for the past 14 years. While I have coached a variety of sports, most of my experience is in coaching track and field. This is my third year as the varsity and middle school cross country coach. As a teacher in the district, coaching allows me to connect with students outside of the classroom. My goal for athletes is for them to experience the many benefits of running and the excitement of being a part of the running community. I started running about four years ago and just recently completed my 59th race. My only regret is that I didn’t start sooner. I am thankful for my supporting family including my husband Derek, son Logan and daughter Allie. I am looking forward to a cross country season full of fun, personal bests and a new appreciation for the sport of running.

I have volunteered as an assistant coach in all sorts of sports for many years at Pentwater Public School and I am very excited to be a part of the cross country coaching staff this year. The athletic field has been my passion for all my life and I did a lot of sports when I was young (Elementary) but since there

I am excited to be coaching Pentwater Varsity Soccer this fall. I have previously coached youth soccer with the Farmington Soccer Club and Ludington Rec Soccer from U8 to High School. I also serve as president of the newly formed West Shore Soccer League, an adult soccer league for Mason, Lake, Oceana, Manistee, and Muskegon counties. I have played soccer at the youth, high school, college club, and adult amateur levels. I also work as the High School Science Teacher at Gateway to Success Academy in Scottville. In my free time, you can find me running, training for triathlons, or going to the movies. My goal for the team and individual players is to Go Beyond and be a model for other teams through passion, positivity, resiliency, discipline, and sportsmanship. As a result, we hope to be a competitive team in the season and postseason.
