Jack Roberts is the son of Chad Roberts and Danielle Roberts. Jack plans to attend Ferris State University in the fall to study pre-pharmacy.

Falcon Family and Friends, the Oceana County K-12 Student Art Show sponsored by the Pentwater Arts Council is this weekend (May 3rd 4-7pm and May 4th 10am-5pm) at the Oceana County Council on Aging in Hart. You are invited to attend and vote for all of your favorite Pentwater Student Artists! Thank you for supporting our students and the Arts!

Today is School Lunch Hero Day 2024 and our dining crew are rock stars! Thank you to Paul Skupien, Michelle Parnell and Lisa Wells and we are so appreciative of all that you do, you are the 'zest'!

Ireland Breitner is the daughter of Mary Ann and Chris Bush and Jeremy and Amy Breitner. Ireland plans to attend Alma College to study new media studies. Ireland is planning on joining the cross country team for the Alma Scots!

It sounds like a thrilling doubleheader! In the first game, the Falcons faced a tough challenge, with Malachi pitching impressively through all six innings. Unfortunately, the lack of offensive support led to a 6-1 loss. The second game was a nail-biter, with the score see-sawing back and forth. The Falcons rallied impressively in the second inning and managed to hold on for a close 9-8 win, thanks to Kaleb Brown's clutch performance in the final moments. Great effort from the team across both games!

The 2024 Oceana County Student Art Show will take place at the Oceana County Community Council on Aging, 4250 W. Tyler Rd., Hart. Michael Quinteros is the son of Nancy Quinteros and Miguel Quinteros. Michael plans on finishing his Associate of Science degree at West Shore Community College through ASM Tech. He then plans on transferring to Michigan Technological University to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering with a focus in automotive performance.

Samantha Schaeferis the daughter of Michele Schaefer and the late Perry Schaefer. Samantha plans to attend the University of Michigan and obtain a bachelor's degree in neuroscience and obtain her M.D. and then plans a career in neurology.

The Pentwater Varsity Track & Field team traveled to Marion tonight for the last WMD conference meet. The boys came in 4th with 76 points and the girls 5th with 32 points. Overall there were 19 personal records set! Next week is the conference championship meet! A big thank you to Martin Marietta in Manistee for allowing Pentwater’s Advanced Chemistry class to tour their plant and learn about the chemistry behind the materials they manufacture. It was a wonderful experience and a great way to show real-world applications of the topics we learn in class such as solubility, acid-base chemistry and the many different types of technology used to identify elements.

Thank you to Elaine Curtis for the donation in memory of former superintendent, Bill Bluhm, to purchase a couple of library books highlighting Bill's love of boating. Thank you!

National Honor Society students celebrated a great year of service and leadership with a pizza and bowling party today!

The home baseball game scheduled for Monday, 4/29, versus Manistee CC at home has been canceled

Congratulations to these four seniors for being recognized as 2024 "AAA" recipients (Attitude, Athletics, Academics) at a dinner ceremony on Sunday, 4/28, at WSCC! Emily Schwarz, Samantha Schaefer, Mitchel Daniels and Abie VanDuinen are 4.0 students while also excelling with high scores on their SAT's, members of the National Honor Society and Student Council and they have earned many hours of community pride hours helping to serve our community! They are great role models and mentors for our younger learners and their drive and determination is evident by their accomplishments here at Pentwater Public Schools but also in their postsecondary goals. They are a true sense of what it means to be a West Michigan "D" League "AAA" student and we could not be more proud of each of them. Well done, Emily, Samantha, Mitchel and Abie!
