Thank you also to the student athletes who assisted in making these delicious apple or cherry pies! Please sign up today for an event and thank you so much!

Esports Team 1 went up against Akron-Fairgrove in a Super Smash Brothers Ultimate match that would decide if they made it into Pinckney for the finals or if they had to play in a playoff round on Saturday. The first match was quick, with Logan taking out all three. The second match was a nail-biter, with Bode coming in clutch and securing a spot in the finals. Team 2 was in a different situation. Team 2 played against Lee SSBU, playing for a spot on Saturday in the playoffs. Things went well in the first match, with Alden taking out 2 and Hunter beating the final person. The second and third, however, were both nail-biters. The second ended with Lily and Hunter taking out one each but falling short. The third ended in a 1v1 between Hunter and one of Lee’s players. Hunter beat the Lee player and secured a spot in the playoffs. Team 2 plays on Saturday, December 3rd at 2pm while Team 1 heads straight to the finals for the early morning on December 10th at 9 am.

Congratulations to Margaret Jorissen and Ben Roberson for being invited to participate in the Midfest Middle School Honor Band on 11/17/22 at the Western Michigan University Miller Auditorium and Dalton Center. Maggie and Ben are students of band director, Mr. Jesse Rodriguez!
