Today Pentwater Quizbowl Competed Virtually in Quiz Central. This is a televised Quizbowl Competition put on by Central Michigan University. We recorded our answers to the same set of questions as Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart. I do not know when the episode will be aired yet.
I am very proud of how they did in their first virtual competition!

We listened!

Wednesday the Pentwater Esports team faced off against Lincoln High school and Garber SSBU. Both teams put up a great effort, however, fell short against 2 great teams. Rodney and Alden both had great matches, and we look forward to seeing what will happen in the rest of the season! Next Wednesday we compete again. Team 1 plays against Comstock Park, and Team 2 plays against Marion.

Why a gym?

Pentwater Esports Team 1 went up against Marion on Wednesday, beating them quickly with 2 easy sets. Rodney and Logan ended up beating all 3 of the Marion players in a one-on-one match-up! Pentwater Esports Team 2 went up against Charleton Heston. Alden, Wayne, and Lily took care of business against them, not losing a single game. Both teams are now 2-0 in their division. Team 1 takes on Garber High School next week, and Team 2 takes on Lincoln High School. I am so proud of how far this team has come. Looking forward to the rest of the season!

The Super U Challenge Assembly came to Pentwater Public School's with two programs K-4th graders and 5th-8th graders. Students were challenged to use their Super Powers to be kind, respectful, responsible and to work as a team. Some students even got slimed! Thanks to our PTCO for sponsoring this fun, educational program.

"Pentwater Esports competed for the first time in a pre-season match. Team 1 versus Detroit Catholic Central was a scrimmage and we won. Team 2 versus Cedar Springs, we lost the first match but won the second and third.
I am very proud of my teams so far and how much we have learned. Looking forward to the rest of the season."

Honoring all who served!
